Michael Schwenn is our go-to guy when it comes to anything body work or paint. With years of experience and a real passion for cars, he’s got a sharp eye for detail and knows how to bring a vehicle back to life. Michael’s especially into classic cars and spends his free time hunting for antiques and unique finds. Whether it’s restoring a vintage ride or helping customers get their car looking like new, Michael brings skill, dedication, and a true love for the work to everything he does.

Alex Rosenbaum
Parts Advisor
Alex Rosenbaum is the friendly face you’ll often see helping customers through the repair process. He’s a fun-loving, easygoing guy who knows how to make people feel comfortable—even when dealing with insurance claims. With a sharp eye for detail and solid hands-on skills, Alex makes sure every repair is done right. Whether he’s writing estimates or working on a car himself, he brings a great attitude and serious know-how to the shop every day.

Leanne McPherson
Body Shop Administration
Leanne McPherson is the organizational heartbeat of our Body Shop and the person who somehow manages to keep everything — and everyone — moving in the right direction. As our Body Shop Administrative Assistant, Leanne helps coordinate with insurance companies, order parts, follow up with customers, and keep the repair process running as smoothly as possible. But around the shop, Leanne is known for much more than paperwork and phone calls. She’s also the unofficial “Body Shop Mom,” which means there’s a very good chance she has snacks, cookies, candy, or some sort of emergency comfort food available at any given moment. Honestly, morale might drop 30% if her snack supply ever disappeared. Originally from Somerville, Leanne brings enthusiasm, positivity, and genuine care to the workplace every day. Customers appreciate how easy she is to talk to and how much effort she puts into helping them through what can often be a stressful repair process. Coworkers appreciate her because she’s always willing to help, always upbeat, and somehow keeps everyone fed in the middle of busy days. Whether she’s handling insurance details, tracking down parts, checking in with customers, or making sure nobody skips lunch, LeAnne helps create the kind of welcoming environment people genuinely enjoy being around. At the end of the day, Leanne is the kind of person who makes customers feel comfortable and coworkers feel like family — and that’s a pretty special combination.

Matt Howell
General Manager
Matt has been with the Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge family for 15 years now. With years of experience in Sales, Service, Parts and Body Shop, Matt brings well rounded experience to the team. His family works and goes to school here in Brenham and if he's not at the store, you can likely find him at one of the school sporting events or possibly searching through the woods at Brenham Golf Club for one of the shots he's shanked left.

Crystal Nowicki
Internet Sales Mgr
If you’ve ever submitted a lead on our website and got a lightning-fast response that was friendly, helpful, and maybe just a little too efficient—it was probably Crystal. As our Internet Sales Manager, she’s the digital gatekeeper of Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge, making sure no customer gets left unread. A Brenham native with a background in law enforcement, Crystal’s the perfect mix of Southern hospitality and “don’t test me.” She’s been with the dealership for years, working her way up from the sales floor to the command center of our online operation. She knows our inventory better than most people know their Netflix passwords. Crystal is all about making the car-buying process smooth, straightforward, and maybe even fun (yes, really). Whether you’re sending an email at 9 p.m. or shopping from your couch in fuzzy socks, Crystal’s ready with the answers, the deals, and the occasional witty GIF. Off the clock, she’s the one making the team laugh, organizing chaos, and reminding us all that she ran a tight ship before it was cool.

Billy Gonsoulin
Sales Manager
Billy Gonsoulin is our Sales Manager and one of the most recognizable personalities in the dealership. With decades of experience in the car business, Billy has seen just about everything the automotive world can throw at a person — and probably has a story about it too. Known for his leadership, sense of humor, and ability to connect with just about anyone, Billy helps keep the sales department running smoothly while making the showroom a much more entertaining place to work. Customers appreciate his experience and honesty, while coworkers appreciate the daily comedy routine that apparently comes included free of charge. Billy is also a former 2 handicap golfer, which he modestly tries not to mention every opportunity he gets… although somehow the topic still comes up regularly. He still approaches golf with the confidence of a touring professional and the occasional frustration of someone who knows exactly how good he used to be. When he’s not helping customers or managing the sales team, Billy can usually be found telling jokes, trading playful insults with coworkers, or delivering one-liners with the timing of someone who genuinely believes he missed his calling in standup comedy. Fortunately for us, he stayed in the car business. What makes Billy especially fun to be around is that he can take a joke just as well as he gives one. His personality, experience, and easygoing attitude help create the kind of welcoming atmosphere customers remember long after they leave the dealership. If you hear laughter coming from the sales tower, there’s a pretty strong chance Billy is in the middle of it.

Outside of work, Roy’s an avid golfer who’s always up for a round on the weekend—or talking shop between holes.

Jason Chan
Sales Professional
Born and raised in Brenham, Jason Chan is about as local as Blue Bell and Friday night lights. A proud Brenham High School athlete, Jason spent his days playing football and soccer — which explains both his teamwork skills and his ability to dodge difficult questions from coworkers. Before joining the sales team, Jason worked in our service department turning wrenches and fixing vehicles. Now he’s made the jump to sales, where he still knows more about how vehicles actually work than most people on the lot — he just gets to do it in clean clothes now. Jason is known around the dealership for being affable, easygoing, and friendly to just about everyone he meets. Whether you want to talk horsepower, financing, football, or why Buffalo Wild Wings is somehow always the answer for dinner, Jason’s your guy. His music playlist is just as unpredictable as Texas weather — bouncing between hard rock, country, and hip hop depending on the day and probably the traffic on Highway 290. Customers appreciate Jason because he’s approachable, knowledgeable, and never high-pressure. He’s basically the kind of guy you’d want helping you buy a vehicle… or backing you up in a pickup basketball game after lunch.

Karen Sysak
Service Advisor
Karen Sysak is one of those familiar faces that makes Brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge feel like home. A seasoned service advisor with years of experience, Karen originally worked at the dealership until 2012 before taking a detour into the world of real estate. After helping people buy houses for a while, she eventually found her way back home to the automotive world in 2025 — because apparently she missed answering questions about warning lights and oil changes. Karen is known for being incredibly knowledgeable about vehicles, easy to talk to, and one of the best communicators around. Whether you’re dealing with routine maintenance or an unexpected repair, she has a way of making the process feel simple, stress-free, and maybe even enjoyable… which is saying a lot when your vehicle is making “that noise.” Outside the dealership, Karen spends much of her time traveling across the United States supporting her daughter’s competitive cheer career. Between airports, hotels, competitions, and long weekends on the road, Karen has probably become just as skilled at packing snack bags and navigating convention centers as she is at scheduling service appointments. Customers appreciate Karen because she treats people like neighbors instead of numbers — with honesty, patience, and a great sense of humor. We’re pretty sure half her customers leave the service drive feeling like they just caught up with an old friend.

David Gates
Service Director
David Gates is our Service Director, but don’t expect to find him sitting behind a desk all day pushing paperwork. More often than not, David is out in the shop helping technicians diagnose problems, assisting with repairs, and keeping the department running efficiently. Before joining the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram world, David was a World Class GM technician, and his years of hands-on experience make him an invaluable resource for both customers and technicians alike. He’s direct, easy to get along with, and believes in fixing vehicles the right way the first time. When David isn’t running the service department, he’s usually working cows — which may explain where his stubborn streak comes from. He’s also passionate about Texas Longhorns and brings that same hardworking mentality into everything he does. David leads by example, runs a tight ship, and has earned the respect of both customers and coworkers through his knowledge, work ethic, and straightforward approach.

Jacob Brookins
Service Advisor
Jacob Brookins brings a unique combination of dealership experience, customer service, and gym discipline to our service department. Before becoming a service advisor, Jacob spent time in Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram sales — so he already knew how to help customers find the right vehicle. Now he helps them keep those vehicles running their best… while probably still knowing every rebate program from memory. Known for being friendly, thorough, and easy to work with, Jacob takes pride in making sure customers fully understand their vehicle needs without making the process overwhelming. He’s the kind of advisor who pays attention to details, follows up consistently, and somehow still manages to stay calm during the Monday morning service rush. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys weight lifting, golfing, and spending time with family. In fact, there’s a good chance he’s either at the gym, on a golf course, or explaining why “this round was going great until hole 14.” Customers appreciate Jacob because he combines experience with genuine care for people. Coworkers appreciate him because he works hard, stays organized, and can probably help move heavy office furniture without needing assistance. Whether you need vehicle advice, service recommendations, or tips on improving your golf swing by exactly zero strokes, Jacob’s always happy to help.
